What exactly is a Sound Bath Meditation?
Sound Bath Meditations are based on the science of vibrational energy. Every molecule in the universe vibrates—including those in the human body. We use the sound vibrations of instruments, such as crystal bowls and gongs and also the human voice, to alter your state of consciousness. As the sounds “wash over you” a sense of peace can permeate your entire field.
The experience begins by lying down on a yoga mat (think Savasana) often with a blanket, bolsters and an eye pillow. The Hummingbird Healing Center provides all the props needed for you to have a comfortable experience or you are welcome to bring your own. Come give it a try, you will be blissfully happy you did!
